Moscow:


Discover the fascinating Russian capital and make the most of your stay by joining our guided tours, conducted in your native language by our expert tour guides. We will introduce Moscow to you during a sightseeing tour featuring the city’s highlights: the Red Square and the Kremlin, the stunning St Basil’s Cathedral, the embankments of the Moskva River, Vorbyovy Hills with a panoramic view of the city, and of course the recently reconstructed Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. You will also visit the ancient Kremlin and the most famous art museums of Moscow. Your tour will include a day trip to Sergiev Posad, formerly Zagorsk, an ancient town founded in the 14th century and centred around the Trinity Monastery of St Sergius, a jewel of early Russian architecture, and nowadays the centre of the Russian Orthodox Church.
 

St Petersburg:


You will be enchanted by St Petersburg, one of the most elegant and sophisticated cities of the world. Our sightseeing tour will take you along the streets and embankments, where every building is a work of art, to the Palace Square with the magnificent Winter Palace, to St Isaac’s Cathedral, one of the largest in the world; you will see many famous monuments and numerous palaces designed by renowned architects. A visit to the Hermitage, the world-famous treasury of arts, may become the main highlight of your visit. You will also enjoy a discovery tour to Novgorod, one of the oldest Russian towns located some 190 km south-west of St Petersburg, which still retains an outstanding heritage of religious frescoes and icons, and is one of the major artistic and cultural attractions of Russia.
 

Moscow and St Petersburg:


Choosing this itinerary will enable you to combine the two great cities of Russia in one trip, perhaps the best idea for a Russian holiday in any season. After an introductory panoramic tour of Moscow, you will enjoy a visit to the Kremlin and see its ancient cathedrals, the Patriarch's Palace, the Tsar Bell and Tsar Cannon. We will also invite you for a guided tour of Tretyakov Gallery, a museum that boasts one of the largest collection of Russian art.. You will enjoy a visit to Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, a world-famous collections of West European art. Your stay in Moscow would be incomplete without visiting the Novodevichy Convent, dating back to 16-th-17th centuries, and Kolomenskoye Estate, built as a summer residence for the Grand Dukes of Moscow, which later became the favourite summer retreat of the Russian Tsars.

In St Petersburg, your city tour will include a visit to St Peter and Paul’s Fortress, with St Peter and Paul’s Cathedral, famous as the burial place of the Russian Tsars. We will take you for a guided tour through the numerous halls of the Hermitage, one of the best art collections in the world. We will also offer you a day tour to the two royal summer residences, Pushkin with its 18th century Catherine’s Palace and Pavlovsk with the elegant palace of Paul 1, both estates located about 25 km to the south of St Petersburg and 6 km away from each other. Another highlight of your tour will be a visit to Peterhof, the spectacular summer residence of the Tsars on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, reminiscent of Versailles.
 

Moscow and the Golden Ring


The selection of Golden Ring Tours, featuring the ancient towns, which form a ring around Moscow, is a unique introduction to the history, culture and architecture of antique Russia. After spending a day or two in Moscow, we depart for Vladimir, where up to the present day the world-renowned monuments of Russian architecture of the 12th century have been preserved. We will see the Assumption Cathedral with unique frescoes, the Dmitrovsky Cathedral, the Golden Gate and the Intercession Church on the Nerl, one of the finest examples the ancient Russian architecture. After a tour of Vladimir we proceed to Suzdal and stay overnight in one of the town’s comfortable hotels. On the next day discover Suzdal, one of the most ancient Russian towns. Our tour includes the Suzdal Kremlin, the Nativity of the Virgin Cathedral, the Achbichop’s Chambers with a rich collection of ancient icons, and the museum of wooden architecture. In the evening we return to Moscow.
